The Filthy Tongues release a new, download-only track, entitled ‘Gas Mask Blues’.
With the core band members Martin Metcalfe, Fin Wilson and Derek Kelly recently concentrating on the re-release of Goodbye Mr Mackenzie’s ‘Good Deeds and Dirty Rags’, it’s the first new material since 2018’s ‘Back To Hell‘.
Produced by Kelly, the new mix is available via Bandcamp as a High Quality download – although it can also be obtained in regular form for free, via Soundcloud.
The band said of the new release: “Through this bizarre covid fog the need for music and music creation is probably needed more than ever. With the knowledge that getting back into venues to enjoy and take part in live music might still be on hold for a while, let’s at least stumble and flail into as much new music as we can.”
