Nicol & Elliott release a new EP, ‘The Storm’, via Last Night From Glasgow.

Released digitally, the four tracks include two previous singles – the title track, which featured on a split 7″ with English quartet In The Forest – plus ‘Dragging Me Down’.

The EP also contains two brand new tracks: ‘Snake Eyes’ and ‘Down in Flames’, paving the way for a further digital EP in summer 2021, a physical release in the autumn, and eventually an album, with plans for that debut long-player already in place.

Originally formed for a one-off show, Andrew Nicol & Rachel Elliott joined Glasgow label Electric Honey, releasing debut single ‘Wish You’d Stayed Away’ in March 2019, which was followed by ‘Sweet Downfall’ the following October .

They then put out debut EP, ‘My Heart Will Wait’ on Last Night From Glasgow’s Hive imprint, as well as contributing a cover of L-Space’s ‘Backup Baby’ to the label’s ‘Isolation Sessions’, a benefit LP aimed at raising funds for local businesses affected by the crisis.

‘The Storm’ was recorded at Anchor Lane Studio, Glasgow by Luigi Pasquini and self-produced by Nicol & Elliott, and is available to stream and download on some digital platforms – see shop.lastnightfromglasgow.com
