Mitchell Museum release their second long-player, ‘Everett Trap’.

The 11-track long-player follows up 2010’s debut, The Peters Port Memorial Service, on local label Electra French Records, which among other acclaim was voted Jockrock’s Album of the Year.

The band are now a three piece – after guitarist Dougie left the remaining members have in Spinal Tap-esque fashion gone through one guitarist per year since.

In the intervening years bassist Kris emigrated to the US to be with his wife, while brothers Cammy and Raindeer continued to work together in Mitchell Museum offshoot, Behold the Old Bear.

With Kris now based in Canada the album was recorded and mixed via over Skype and email, and eventually mastered in Glasgow by David Robert Simpson, recording engineer for Chvrches.
