This week’s selection of live-ish shows kicks off on Thursday…

Carla J Easton celebrates the forthcoming release of new album ‘Weirdo’ by going on a (Zoom) tour, with Lemon Drink, Malka, and Broken Chanter in tow.
Described as “probably the most eco-friendly tour ever, tickets are available now for the two shows this week:
Thursday 24th July, with Lemon Drink

Friday 25th July, with Malka

(There’s also a show with Broken Chanter on Friday 31st)

On Thursday there should be a regular webcast, via Facebook, from Mt. Doubt, in the solo shape of mainman Leo Bargery. The home livestream is scheduled for 8pm on Thursday 23rd July.

Another regular Sunday webcast is Hamish Hawk, on Instagram Live, from 4pm on Sunday 26th) and on Facebook.

Gordon out of ballboy also presents a regular live session, usually available on Sunday @ballboymusic from 9pm on Instagram, or, this week, at Facebook, and always uploaded later the next week to listen to again on Bandcamp.

And an irregular ‘cast this week comes from The Jellyman’s Daughter on Sunday 26th – for two hours from 7pm, the trio will play a couple of sets via Facebook and have a Q&A as well, the multi-channel; show being, they hope, “as close to a pre-COVID gig as possible”.
Tickets here.

Finally, another ‘gig’ that’s not really a gig, but enjoy Modern Studies getting together in their separate home studios in Glasgow, Perthshire and Lancashire, for a take on a track from their recent ‘The Weight of the Sun’ album.
