Young musicians – aged from 14-20 years old – can obtain funding for ‘Artistic Development’ from Creative Scotland.

The Nurturing Talent – Time to Shine Fund aims to help fund recording a demo or a live showcase, to the amount of up to £200, or for groups of two people or more for up to £750. The funding will be administered by Young Scot over the next two years and will be provided to individuals and groups to help “nurture talent” in the following categories:

Artistic Development (such as auditioning, training, taking part in a workshop, work shadowing, mentoring)

Promotion and showcasing (such as staging an exhibition, recording a demo, marketing a performance, publishing written work)

Peer-to-peer delivery (hosting a workshop, setting up a local group)
