Charitable fund Help Musicians UK is offering Scottish-based artists the chance to get funding for new projects.

The Fusion Fund offers £2,000 – £5,000 for professional musicians to undertake UK-based projects that develop and test new work, ideas or potential career directions through inspiring periods of collaborative research and development.

Advice sessions for anyone with innovative ideas are being offered at The Scottish Music Centre in Glasgow’s Candleriggs.

Here, David Culbert, Development Officer, and Ellie Moore, Creative Programme Officer, will talk musicians through their idea and offer general advice on making funding applications.

Sessions are available from 16:00 – 19:00 on Thursday 28 September and from 12:30– 15:30 on Tuesday 3 October, plus on Monday 9 October from 16:00 – 19:00.

Alternatively, Skype or phone surgeries are possible. Interested artists should call 0141 552 522 or email [email protected], before October 12.
