Washington Irving release a new single, ‘We Are All Going To Die’ on their own label, Naked Emperor Records.

The band – Joseph Black, Martin Anfield , Kieran Heather, Rory MacDonald and Chris McGarry – support Titus Andronicus on their UK tour including a show at Stereo in in Glasgow.

The single is the folow-up to their last collection of EP’s, Palomides I & II, and comes after a six month period where the five members of the band were scattered across Scotland and only communicated electronically.

Since the EP releases the band have worked in the US with Kevin McMahon, known for his work with Titus Andronicus, Swans and Real Estate and the new single trails this new material from an album due out next year. ‘We Are All Going To Die’ will also receive a physical 7” release this winter via Canadian indie label Kingisher Bluez.
The track will feature on the band’s forthcoming first full length, due in 2016.
