A busy second half to the Week In Gigs – firstly, at the Safari Lounge in Edinburgh’s Cadzow Place, US improviser Eric Boros, droners Fordell Research Unit and local experimental noise terrorists Usurper.
Not far away, more noisy brutes – Sleaford Mods are at La Belle Angele with support / haunders from Snide Rhythms. The Mods then move onto Aberdeen’s Tunnels, Dundee Buskers and Glasgow Art School on the 15th – 17th respectively.

On Thursday at Dumfries venue The Stove, recent Vic Galloway session guest Rudi Zygadio.

Friday night is one which requires certain choices to be made. In Aberdeen, Ruts DC are at The Lemon Tree. In the central belt, too much choice – Bill Wells and Aidan Moffat at Dunfermline’s Carnegie Hall? Yo La Tengo at The Garage in Glasgow? Or Jane Weaver at King Tut’s?

At least Ms Weaver is playing in Edinburgh the following night, at the Electric Circus. However, Randolph’s Leap are at in Bathgate on Saturday night… (to say nothing of the Lancashire Hot Pots at the ABC2).

Which is more than enough for one weekend…
