Tim Edey releases a version of Sting’s song ‘Field’s of Gold’.

The single, the first track to come from an album due out in 2021, is a charity record with proceeds from downloads going to the Sands UK Stillbirth and Neonatal Death charity.

Sands provided Tim and partner Isobel with support during 2015 when they lost their baby boy Griogair aged just 2 months.

Edey, BBC Scotland’s Musician of the Year, teamed up with world renowned musicians, Canadian fiddle player Natalie MacMaster, as well as Scots fiddler Patsy Reid, for the new version of the track, which was produced by Perth-based Dave MacFarlane.
