Shredd re-release their debut single ‘Cobra’.

The track, originally released in 2017 on cassette by Fuzzkill Records, predated two further singles – debut EP ‘Every Time We Meet I Want To Die‘, and follow-up ‘Flight of Stairs‘.

Since ‘Cobra’s initial release, the Cumbernauld trio – Chris Harvie, Mark Macdonald, and Calum Wilson – appeared at Stag & Dagger, Tenement Trail, BBC 6 Music Festival, King Tuts Summer Nights and Freakender along with support slots with The Black Lips and Death Valley Girls.

‘Cobra’ was produced by Bruce Rintoul (Fatherson, Vukovi) and came with artwork by Emily Wylde of Ghost Girls Society and was released at a sold out show at Glasgow’s Old Hairdressers.

It then, as the band say, “disappeared off of online streaming services for reasons outwith our control”.

“‘Cobra’ has been the staple closer of our live set and a fan favourite for years…
we thought now would be a perfect time to sort that out!” they added.

The band’s April Sneaky Pete show with Vlure and Freakwave has been rescheduled for Saturday the 12th September.
