God Damn The Son releases a three-track single, entitled ‘EP1’.
The three tunes – ‘Afraid of Technology’, ‘Caledonian Miserablism’ and ‘I’m Coming Home Mummy’ are the solo project of Alistair Quietsch, a Scottish based musician more usually playing double bass in improvising groups.
However, the glitch based techno pieces – span over 17 minutes – are the result of spare-time recordings made in the studio at the Kinningpark Complex – with live double bass and sampling.
Quietsch, who previously released an EP, ‘Cutting Room Floor’, under his own name, a year ago, will premiere the new release with a show in July.
