Fence Flaming Hot Loggs is an all-day evemnt in the label’s hometown of Anstruther, on 5th November. Not entirely sure who’s playing, but no matter, as TitP-style, the event has sold out – though some tickets were available in East Neuk Books, in Rodger Street, Anstruther. Check before traveling… (try the Fence site, I guess…)

Former Slit Viv Albertine embarks on a UK tour that takes in several Scottish dates… on Thursday November 3rd she’s at The Voodoo Rooms, Edinburgh (with The Tango Rhums)
On Friday November 4th, it’s onto at Beat Generator Live! in Dundee. This one has The Creeping Ivies, Ghosts Of Progress and Hookers For Jesus in support, with entrance to the Funhouse clubnight aftyerwards.

And on Sunday November 6th, she’s at Mono in Glasgow, with Aggi Doom

Miniature Dinosaurs play Glasgow’s Stereo on the 4th November – it’ll probably be their last Glasgow date this year, or so they tell us.

In Aberdeen, a good night out in a good cause – Jimstock is a fundraiser for Aberdeen Royal Infirmary set up by local musician Jamie Rodden as a thankyou to the hospital for their care of his father, Jim, when he was in for heart surgery. Hercules Moments is covering Jimstock, while Cinergi – the Aberdeen University Film-Making Society – plans to produce a documentary of the event. Acts playing include Shy James, Stanley, Amy Sawers, The Lorelei and The Tijuana Sun.
