Bell Lungs releases a single, ‘Wolves Behind Us’, on the Sonically Depicting imprint.

The physical release comes as a clear 8” lathe cut single, with cover art by Julija Straižytė, limited to 52 copies.

Broadcaster and journalist John Cavanagh, also known for his part in experimental acts Electroscope and Phosphene, co-produced and recorded the record along with Bell Lungs akaCeylan Hay.

Hay contributes vocals, guitar and violin, while cello and cello arrangements on ‘Dead Earth’ are by Modern Studies / The Leg’s Pete Harvey. Also involved are a small choir providing backing vocals on ‘Falls Apart’, recorded in Queen Margaret Drive viaduct: Lucy Bell, Katrina Caldwell, John Cavanagh, Brenden Crow, Gordon Kennedy, Claire Leonard, Alicia Logan, Svenja Meyerricks, Howie Reeve and Julija Straižytė.

The record gets its live launch on Wednesday 20th February at Henry’s Cellar Bar, Edinburgh.
