Glasgow’s West End Festival – which runs from Fri 3 – Sun 26 June – will again have a live Up & Coming stage in Kelvingrove Park on the opening Sunday, June 5th.
The Vintage Guru stage, which last year boasted among its performers Sky TV competition winner Emma’s Imagination, will be located close to the Stewart Memorial Fountain in Kelvingrove Park, close to the Argyle Street entrance to the park.
Bands and solo performers have a chance to play the all-day stage, which is this year hosted by Jim Gellatly – this year’s submission process is now open, and artists are being invited to enter their demos (for free) via www.vintageguru.co.uk. Those selected take one of eight slots and play to an expected audience of 1,500 during any performance.
