Public Enemy, Kate Tempest, bis and John Cale are among the recent additions to the lineup for this year’s Doune The Rabbit Hole festival.

They join the likes of previously-announced names such as Belle & Sebastian, Pussy Riot, Mclusky, and The Bluebells.

Bill Bailey, Honeyblood, Pastels, Buzzcocks, and Peat & Diesel and Cut Capers are also slated to perform at Cardross Estate on 17th – 19th July.

Bill-toppers Public Enemy are currently headed up by original member Chuck D, following a despite with co-founder Flavor Flav over the band’s support for US presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders. Meanwhile, former Velvet Underground member John Cale, who recently turned 78, last recorded an album in M:FANS, but has recently been collaborating with the likes of Marissa Nadler and Cate le Bon.

Comedian Bailey is known for mixing music with humour and will, with any luck, perform the hits of Metallica on a set of car horns, while Scots indiepop act bis will be welcomed following an acclaimed comeback album ‘Slight Disconnects’.

However, Motown legend Martha Reeves & The Vandellas have sadly been forced to pull out.
