Red Bull’s Bedroom Jam, a weekly live music webcast, has returned for a fifth year of its talent search, which involves bands uploading home recorded videos to its site.

The prize, available to bands with at least one member under the age of 22, includes festival slots, a support on a major tour and a free recording session.

Judges include Aled Phillips from Kids In Glass Houses, who took last winners You And What Army on tour. They will select 8 bands from an initial total of the 15 who will be chosen using the ‘Buzz Radar’ system to play live shows live from their bedrooms every Monday at 5pm. The finalists are then whittled down to a final 3 who will be up for a public vote.

Videos can be seen, and uploaded, at redbullbedroomjam.com with the first webcast on Feburary 21st.
