On Tuesday, Graham Parker (most likely without The Rumour) at Glasgow’s Òran Mór, and coming highly recommended, Irish singer-songwriter Jack Lukeman is at St Luke’s.

On Wednesday at Edinburgh’s Mash House, it’s Brighton popsters Fickle Friends, while in Glasgow, Ride are at SWG3, and Dundonian electonic duo St Martiins play McChuill’s.

Thursday night sees a gig guide regular visit Edinburgh’s Voodoo Rooms – Martin Stephenson, but it’s a rare full band set with the Daintees.

On Thursday in Dunfermline Neon Waltz are at P.J. Molloy’s, and in Edinburgh, former Wendys / Foil / Lowlife/ Bendy Toy-featuring combo Sons Of The Descent are at Leith Depot alongside Salt who contain ex-members of Ruby Suit / Vatican Shotgun Scare.
In Aberdeen Ride are at The Lemon Tree, and same city, same night, The Xcerts play Unit 51.

Glasgow on Thursday can offer you Pop Will Eat Itself at Òran Mór, Admiral Fallow playing St Luke’s, or The Wonder Stuff along with Jim Bob out of Carter USM at the O2 Academy.

Friday night in Dundee has The Libertines, at the Caird Hall, while in Edinburgh – Stockbridge to be precise – Paul Vickers and The Leg launch brand new album ‘Jump’ at St Steven’s Church (kind of near to VoxBox as far as we can tell)

In Glasgow on Friday it’s Beak> at the QMU while reconstituted and reconvened Xcerts are at King Tut’s and there’s post-hardcore from Hot Snakes at Broadcast.
Loud music in Dumfries too on Saturday as Irish metallers Conjuring Fate have a show at The Vault Arts Centre, and in Dunfermline, local lads Dancing On Tables.
And in Inverness, Pandacar plus Polar Bears In Purgatory are at The Tooth & Claw.
In Edinburgh, Lindisfarne play The Queen’s Hall, Zoe Graham is at Sneaky Pete’s, and in Aberdeen, at The Tunnels, Baby Strange.

Glasgow’s Saturday night offers the options of Lewis Capaldi at the O2 Academy, or at SWG3, We Were Promised Jetpacks. Also on offer, The Libertines play the Barrowland, and bell lungs has a show at The Rum Shack.

Finally, to Sunday – at Dundee’s Clark’s on Lindsay Street, 80s hitmakers China Crisis. America come to Perth for a show at the Concert Hall Get there at the end to catch ‘Horse With No Name’, probably.

Speaking of retro acts, Sweet are in Glasgow at Òran Mór (this will be the version led by guitarist Andy Scott as opposed to Steve Priest’s US-based version) and The Libertines have another night at the Barrowland.
Finally, also in Glasgow, Edwin Organ plays a set at SWG3 Poetry Club, while davesnewbike, plus Tom Houston Music are at The Old Hairdressers.
