The Johnstone multi-instrumentalist previously played in duo Fantanas for several years along with drummer Cameron Ross, but the duo parted company earlier in 2020.
Citing a diverse range of influences including Bill Ryder-Jones, My Bloody Valentine, Mac DeMarco and Beach House, Carrigan performs all instruments on the recording himself, as well as producing/engineering the track – having taken up home recording during lockdown to “stop myself going mad… and maybe learn a new skill.”
