Zoe Graham and Blicero release a collaborative single, ‘Stubborn Fire’, via A Modern Way Recordings.

Available to stream or download, the track, recored not long before lockdown, also comes with a socially-distanced video, shot around Glasgow and showing fans (and their families) dancing at home as they hear the track for the first time.

‘Stubborn Fire’ follows Graham’s single from the start of the year, ‘Gradual Move‘, and sees her team up with electronic bedroom producer Blicero.

Written, they say, purely for fun with no firm release plans in mind, the pair decided the coronavirus lockdown was the perfect time to share their indie-dance collaboration.

As Graham explains: “The track was written at the start of the year. It is the result of one of my last face-to-face songwriting sessions before lockdown. Luke and I worked together in his tiny home studio to shape this song from its rough origins into a finished pop structure.”

The Glasgow-based singer has most recently played live dates with Kate Nash, Kawala and Rae Morris, and releasing two singles from her forthcoming ‘Gradual Move’ EP with more music to follow in the summer months. Since lockdown she has been hosting a weekly virtual bingo game with fans on Instagram Live.

Blicero (aka Luke Palmer)’s most recent releases have bee the aptly-titled ‘iwanttogooutside’ which followed ‘Playtime’. His debut release was 2019’s ‘Like a Bee Over Something Sweet’, a collection of ambient works released on Rural Sounds Records.
