On Friday 17th Stanley Odd, Treacherous Orchestra, Woodenbox and Culann are among the acts at the three-day Butefest which kicks off in, er, Bute. Meanwhile back on terra firma in Glasgow, hotly-tipped combo White are at Stereo, bearded bluseman Dave Arcari plays the Glad Cafe, and RM Hubbert is Southside at the Hug and Pint

Mickey 9s are in Aberdeen on Saturday, at Tunnels, while also in Furryboots city it’s Americana with New Yorkers The Felice Brothers at the Lemon Tree.
Also on Saturday, at Perth Green Room, wit and songsmithery from Shambles Miller (he’s also at the Hug and Pint the following night)

On Sunday, in Glasgow we have Welsh comedy rappers Goldie Lookin Chain at Audio, while at King Tut’s, Colonel Mustard & the Dijon 5 are at Tut’s.
