Bit of a busy week and you’ll be spoiled for choice I fear…
First up, a strong triple band bill at Edinburgh’s Sneaky Pete’s on Thursday, June 2 –
Trapped in Kansas, Plastic Animals & Letters
And on Friday 3rd: Edinburghers can enjoy a rather fine triple bill, back at Sneaky Pete’s again: Carnivores, Black International and Kraul.
or if you’re in Glasgow on Friday then Over The Wall celebrate their return from their 80 Days Round the UK tour with a hometown show at Nice N Sleazy, with guests the John Knox Sex Club.
Electric Honey have a showcase at Glasgow’s Oran Mor on Sat 4th June which acts as a launch for the debut album by White Heath…Take No Thoughts For Tomorrow. They play, as do Woodenbox With a Fistful of Fivers, French Wives & Miniature Dinosaurs a well as a dj set by Wake the President. With all that going on, probably unsurprising that it kicks off at 6.30pm.
On Saturday, in Edinburgh – another neat 3-band bill (3 band bills are the new 4 band bills):
Over The Wall, Washington Irving and Cancel the Astronauts. That’s at the Cabaret Voltaire.
And showing that our guide travels far and wide, Trapped in Kansas play, er, Falkirk, at Behind The Wall, on Sunday 5th.
