Aberdeen quintet Watchfires release their second album ‘A Quiet Rebellion’, via Struck Dum Records.
Including single ‘The Bright In Your Bloodstream’, ‘A Quiet Rebellion is the second album from Watchfires, and the first to be released on a label after their signing to not-for-profit punk outfit Struck Dum in 2016.
The band formed in 2013 and shortly afterwards recorded and released four-track EP ‘A Captive Still’.
They followed this with debut album ‘Ribbons & Shards, recorded at Edinburgh’s Depot Studios in 2014 and released the following year
The band – frontman Ewan Donald, guitarists Mitch Bain and Alex Lorgen, bassist Mark Salter and Gregor Marr on drums – are now split between Glasgow and Aberdeen but launched the 10-track release at Exodus in Aberdeen, preceding a mini tour in October.
