A wee flurry of reading for you this week –
The Scotsman’s Radar column had a chat with Daniel Abercrombie, of Edinburgh band Very Well in a preview for the Christmas Songwriters’ Club (sorry, you missed it)
In the Herald, Nicola Meoghan interviewed Moffat and Wells about their extra-curricular activities as L. Pierre and as the National Jazz Trio of Scotland.
She also celebrated the 10th birthday of… Monorail Music in a chat with everyone’s favourite shopkeepers Stephen Pastel and Dep Downie
Speaking of 10th birthdays, plenty of is this music? action including this piece in The Scotsman – the site is also flogging commemorative T-shirts… oh, and running its annual poll as well with quite a few Scottish albums nominated.
Oh, and actually doing some proper work as well – there’s this interview with the Whispery Club
Since it’s Xmas, Jonathan Geddes talked to the festively-minded Dundonians The View
And ahead of his band’s Hogmanay gig in Edinburgh, The Scotsman’s Aidan Smith had a chat with Jim Kerr out of Simple Minds
