Uncle Kid releases a festive single, ‘Christmas Eve in the Cuckoo’s Nest’, as a bandcamp download.

The track is taken for the mini-album ‘Indistinct Chatter’, which came out in February this year. The Borders-born musician describes his songs as having “poetic lyrics (which) allude to mental health struggles, often in everyday situations”.

Behind the alias is Craig Nicolson, formerly guitarist in The Last September. Now solo, he writes and records from his base in Edinburgh, and has an EP in the works for 2020, with gigs to follow.
