Uncle Kid releases his debut EP, ‘Indistinct Chatter’, on Revkon Records.

The four tracks include lead single ‘Supermarket Sweep‘ which has been described as “a song for our times” by Tom Robinson on BBC 6 Music.

There are three further tunes on the release – ‘Hermano’, ‘Lamplig’ and ‘Superman’, which follow what was the Borders-born musician’s first foray into releasing music, the festive ‘Christmas Eve in the Cuckoo’s Nest‘, from last year.

Uncle Kid is the pseudonym of Craig Nicolson, formerly guitarist in The Last September – describes his songs as having “poetic lyrics (which) allude to mental health struggles, often in everyday situations”.
