Tupper Werewolf releases a new EP, entitled ‘Flavour Country’.
The four tracks – ‘Pianohammer’, ‘Mouths’, ‘All Sorts’ and ‘You Can Do It’
are available as a bandcamp download, while pghysical copies can be obtained at live shows.
It’s the solo project of Gordon Barr, who began with an old Italian karaoke keyboard before moving into working with synthesised and/or heavily effected sampled instruments from around the world.
The EP, recorded in late 2019 in a Govanhill bedroom, is a collection of ideas from the last 18 months, during which time Barr has also performed with the likes of Pom Poko, Another Sky, Haiku Hands, and played a BBC Introducing show. It follows up three similarly EP-sized digital releases from that 18-month period.
There are plans for festival shows in summer and to make a more extensive tour of the UK in 2020.
