Tryptamines and Morphamish release a collaborative album, ‘Adventures in Anywhen’.

The seven-track long-player is basically a reworking of the Aberdeen duo’s’ 2019 album ‘The Way Which Can Be Named Is Not The Nameless Way’, by Edinburgh-based producer Morphamish.

Including lead single ‘Please Don’t Judge What You Don’t Understand’ – a punk funk dance reboot of the Tryptamines original – the new version of the record also features Foxbeats on drums and bass guitar, and Rebella Waller on violin.

The pairing of Tryptamines and Morphamish was previously awarded a worldwide Independent Music Award ‘Best Eclectic EP’ for the Morphamish produced ‘Metropolis’ EP.

Tryptamines comprise core members Chemical Callum and Tom the Noisemonger – Callum on vocals and piano, hammond organ, rhodes, baritone guitar, harmonium and CP70 electro acoustic piano, and Tom on analogue beat machines and pedals “connected together with string and wires”.

Morphamish is a producer, DJ and live set performer from Edinburgh with releases on RIOT Radio Records, as well as Crystal Distortion’s Labrat Records. He is also a resident at ETC, a founder member of Black Lantern Music, and producer of You Call That Radio, a podcast and stream from Glasgow.

The album is available now as a bandcamp download – more at www.facebook.com/morphamishmusic
