Tommy Ashby releases a new EP, ‘Golden Arrow’ via Wow and Flutter Records.
There are four tunes on the release – ‘Cocoon’, ‘Steady Hand’, ‘Someone New’, and lead track ‘Apollo (New Love)’.
The singer-songwriter, from an Americana-based background (including playing guitar in his father’s blues band), also gained a Ph.D in the perception of sound.
His musical career progressed with support slots on tour with Luke Sital Singh, The Xcerts, and Nina Nesbitt.
Ashby has a series of Scottish shows in July:
Sunday July 7th – Glasgow – Hug and Pint, support to Hilang Child,
Monday July 8th – Under Canvas at Eden Court, Inverness
Tuesday July 9th – headline at Sneaky Pete’s, Edinburgh
Friday July 12th – support Big Country, Innerleithen
