As is always the case in T week, (did we mention we had a T Break podcast… oh, we did. Oh well, in case you missed it), things are fairly quiet aside from an airfield-sized city just outside Milanthort.
Big show in Glasgow on Wednesday though – Garbage play the Barras (see is this music?‘s latest piece containing absolutely nothing on Shirley!)
Oop north, we couldn’t let the farewell tour of kitsch-rockers The Alexander Brothers go unmarked – they’re at Strathpeffer Pavilion on Thurs 5th.
Also on Thurs 5th, former Inspiral Carpet Tom Hingley is in Edinburgh, at Sneaky Pete’s.
And the following night (Friday), at the Wee Red Bar, Dundee’s Creeping Ivies play (they’re big favourites of Manicpopthrills)
Just after Jubilee week, and proper royalty graces Dunfermline’s Jam Jar on Saturday – Eddie Tudor Pole is in town. See the video from Top of the Pops below which always raises a smile…
Meanwhile, The Hazey Janes are in Edinburgh. at Sneaky Pete’s on Saturday.
And… no, can’t think of anything else. But if you’re out and about, mind your wellies…
