Halloumi Daydream, Between City Lights, and Jasmin Reid are among the acts featured on a new compilation album from Damfino Records.

‘This is Damfino’, available as a download, comes from the independent student-run record label based out of The University of The West of Scotland.

The eleven-track release follows a similar album from 2020, ‘Sound Stories’, which was put together by the MA Music students of that year, and is also available on Bandcamp.

Several of the acts featured have also released music in their own right – Lanarkshire quartet Weekend Debt having put out the album’s opening track ‘Pomposity’ as their second single, while ‘Haunted‘ was Rebekah Kirk‘s debut release last year.

Modern Sonder – the project of Keith musician Jazz Dey – has also released a single, ‘Don’t Look Down‘.

Also featured on the album are Niall Gibson, Stef Collero, Stefan Livingston, Sean Lowrie, Badgerclan and ASTER.
