It’s not until the weekend that the live scene rumbles into life…

On Thursday at Dundee’s Caird Hall, The View hit their hometown, while in Edinburgh, Man of Moon are at Sneaky Pete’s. The Proclaimers visit Kilmarnock for a show at the Grand Hall, and in Glasgow’s George Square, just beside the ice rink, The Deadly Winters.

In Dundee on Friday, Aaron Wright plays, appropriately, at Buskers while in Edinburgh, A New International are at the Bongo Club. The Proclaimers are in Falkirk, at the Town Hall. And in Glasgow, Randolph’s Leap play the Hug and Pint.

Saturday night is music night – in Edinburgh, Kid Canaveral‘s Xmas Baubles takes place at Pilrig St Paul’s, with guests and quite possibly pies.

How To Swim celebrate 15 years in showbiz, incorporating sets by most of the chamber pop ensemble’s lineups over their illustrious career. And up the road a little (ok, eastwards), Col Mustard and his Dijon 5 bring their multi-legged party machine to St Lukes.
And similarly, in a sense, another multi-member collective, Fat Suit, have a show at Cottiers.
Also in Glasgow, Woodenbox are at King Tut’s and The Silencers play the O2 ABC. A bit further afield, Neon Waltz play a show at Harpers in Wick.
