The Snuts release their debut album, ‘W.L.’, on Parlophone Records.

Including recent Radio 1-playlisted single single ‘Somebody Loves You’, the record’s 13 tracks – with another four on the ‘deluxe’ edition – were produced by Tony Hoffer (Beck, Phoenix, M83) and recorded at the Firepit London.

The quartet launched the long-player with a livestream at Stirling Castle last week (below), playing the album in its entirety.

“W.L. is our lifetime work. It’s a collection of milestones and melodies that time stamp a dream we had becoming a reality,” said lead singer Jack Cochrane. “It’s a record about being true, loving and resilient.”

The Whitburn-formed band, who also feature Joe McGillveray (guitar), Callum ‘29’ Wilson (bass) and Jordan ‘Joko’ Mackay (drums), have not played live to an audience since the pandemic began, and were doubly disappointed when a series of drive-in shows planned for last August were cancelled, including their set at Ingliston.
