The Shan release a new single, ‘Grave Love’.
The track – available to download via Bandcamp, or stream – is taken from an EP, ‘X-Flies’, which is due out on March 19, and which will feature artwork by local artist Stan Intihar aka Meestah Stink.
The three-piece garage/punk band, from Edinburgh, have previously supported acts such as The Dwarves, The Vibrators, The Lurkers, The Ruts DC, Stiff Little Fingers and The Meteors.
Pre-Covid, the trio were also scheduled to return to London after having been invited to play with Slaughter and The Dogs and then 999 later in the year.
The single, and the EP’s other two tracks – ‘Bits of Shit’ and ‘Bullets’ – were written, performed, recorded, mixed and mastered by the band – Gordon Cockburn (vocals, guitar), Calum Piercy (bass) and Josh Lohr (drums).
