The Pure Gallus release a 12-track album, entitled ‘Did Ye Aye?’, on the West Lothian-based music collective label Les Frites Petites.

The mysterious solo singer/songwriter from Edinburgh describes himself as a “grumpy, moaning git writing songs about the everyday”.

Jockrock says: “An accomplished, wry and witty release that, with synthy, dreampop overtones, isn’t nearly as arch or musically weird as you might expect. Lyrically… well, that’s a different matter…”
