The debut (and who knows, only?) album by The Grand Gestures launches this Friday with a show at Glasgow’s King Tut’s on Friday June 1.
The ‘collective’, gathered together by Spare Snare’s Jan Burnett, and featuring Jill O’Sullivan of Sparrow and the Workshop, Andrew Howie aka Calamateur, Emma Pollock, comic actor Sanjeev Kohli, Calamity Horse,and artist Celie Byrne, will all perform their invividual tracks at the show. Support for the show on Friday includes Behold, the Old Bear – new project by Mitchell Museum drummer Raindeer.
