The Eves release a new single, ‘Christmas in Summertime’.

Available via all digital download and streaming sites, it follows the act’s most recent single ‘Love Will Find You’, from August.

Since forming, The Eves have played TRNSMT, Country to Country, and opened for The Shires.

Of the new track, the duo say: “Although we tend to associate the Christmas period with joy and happiness, it’s also a time for reflection, and remembrance of the people we have lost, held deep in our hearts.

“In this particularly difficult year, the sense of loss seems magnified and even more raw than usual.

The pair – Caroline Gilmour and Marissa Keltie – both lost their fathers close to Christmas, inspiring them to write ‘Christmas in Summertime’.

“It’s a song about a great sense of loss,” the pair continue, “but it’s also a song about joy; a song about loving the people around you, every day, ever present.”
