The Eastern Swell release their debut album entitled ‘One Day, A Flood’.
The Anglo-Scottish outfit, formed in Edinburgh in 2014, were originally named Lainie & The Crows to The Eastern Swell before signing to Edinburgh’s Stereogram Recordings. Consisting of Lainie Urquhart, Chris Reeve, Neil Collman and Andy Glover, they also call on Pete Harvey to play cello and piano on some of the album’s nine tracks.
The album is produced by Harvey (of Modern Studies, Meursault and King Creosote repute) in his own Pumpkinfield Studios, and is available on CD and download.
The band launch the long-player at The Voodoo Rooms in Edinburgh on Sunday 18th September with support from Candythief.
