The Cathode Ray have released their eponymous debut album, on Stereogram Recordings.
The band formed in 2006, as a collaboration between Jeremy Thoms and Paul Haig, have had three singles in the time before this album has finally appeared, though Haig left the band early on. The album has already been well-reviewed by is this music?
The new lineup, which includes other Scottish post-punkers from TV21/Bluebells and Scars, promotes the release with shows at Café Drummond, Aberdeen on Friday April 6th and The Citrus Club, Edinburgh on Saturday April 7th. More details at www.facebook.com/thecathoderay.
