The Byson Family release their second single, ‘Only Love Can Live’, available to stream or download at iTunes or Spotify.

The quintet consist of Phil Campbell (formerly of The Temperance Movement), Mick McDaid (bassist with Paulo Nutini), drummer Allan James (most recently spotted with Jon Fratelli’s band), Christian Fleetwood, and Chris Russell (The River 68s).

Recorded and mixed by Geoff Allan in CaVa studios and mastered at Abbey Road, the new track follows up the band’s debut, ‘Little Bit Longer’, which was released on Christmas Day.

The video for the single is, they say, “inspired by all the people in Glasgow back in the day, and how they’ve influenced us and the culture we’ve inherited from them.”

After two sell out shows at St Luke’s and a sold out Edinburgh debut at Voodoo Rooms, the next live show for the band is a free ticketed gig at Glasgow’s Rum Shack on March 19th.

The Glasgow combo’s debut album is due for release this spring.
