The Aphrodisiacs have emerged from a long hibernation with a EP of new material which can be downloaded from their Soundcloud page.
The band – initially a trio from Motherwell, but now possibly a duo based in St Etienne and Aberdeen – released several singles and an album entitled ‘This Is A Campaign’ on SL Records. Following the recording of a Peel Session, the album’s title track reached the Festive 50 in 2002, but the band split sometime around 2008.
The new four-track release is entitled ‘Perpetual Motion’ and can be heard on their Soundcloud page.
