Taylorville – aka Scottish based songwriter, singer, musician and producer Colin Taylor and friends – releases an album, ‘Sugar in the Wound’.

The Americana-themed long-player was recorded at Taylor’s Cooler Studios, just outside Glasgow, along with long-time collaborator Paul Galvin.

The 11 tracks were then produced / mixed by Ed Buller (Suede, Pulp, White Lies).

Colin Taylor has seen previous songwriting incarnations enjoy extensive airplay on national radio. His song ‘One Day’, written about a changed world, immediately after his experience of dining at the top of the World Trade Centre in New York the evening before 9/11, was championed by the likes of Johnny Walker at the BBC.

He was also invited to contribute songs to a Nick Lowe tribute album, released in the USA entitled ‘The Lowe Country‘, alongside Ron Sexsmith, Caitlin Rose and others.
