Tamara Schlesinger releases her debut solo album entitled The Procession on Tantrum Records.

The debut solo effort by the lead singer of indie folk band 6 Day Riot was recorded in her native Glasgow and funded by creative Scotland.

The release is supported with a launch tour:

8th August – Old Queen’s Head London
10th Instore at Apple Store, Glasgow
15th August – Stereo, Glasgow w/ Mersault
17th, supporting Mersault Aviemore
18th, supporting Mersault, Aberdeen

The album is funded by Creative Scotland and, says her label, sees her experiment with a new sound and a new way of working.
