Tamanfaya release a new single ‘Who Knows Who’, on Substation Records.
It follows the Dunfermline band’s debut single ‘Murky‘ released one month ago.
Initially a duo, the band now features new vocalist Martyn Mcguire on vocals, joining founder members Aidan O’Hara and Matt Philp.
The track, produced and mixed by Michael Brennan at Substation in Rosyth, also features a mysterious keyboard player, “The Bishop” (the studio is situated in a former church, but no further clues are available).
The band originally formed as a duo of drummer/vocalist O’Hara and guitarist/vocalist Philp in 2019, playing their debut gig at Dunfermline’s Carnegie Hall as opening act for Outwith festival in their hometown of.
‘Who Knows Who’ is the third release – following Tamanfaya’s debut and the ‘House Music Volume C19‘ charity compilation – for the label based in the Fife recording studio used by the likes of Primal Scream, Faith No More, Snow Patrol, Mogwai, Idlewild, The Zephrys, Sons and Daughters and 65 Days of Static.
