Glaswegian bluesman T. F. Arnott releases what he describes as a “kind of comedy blues record”, entitled ‘Heid: The T. F. Arnott Story’.
The 19, mostly self-penned tracks are pieced together documentary-style with interludes from actors playing characters in the life of a legendary figure who crops up, Zelig-style, throughout 20th Century American music and cultural history, shaping all of it.
The album is free to download until the 15th of January.
