Sun Rose release their debut album ‘The Essential Luxury’ on the Last Night From Glasgow label.
The band began recording the album in 2014, the year after abandoing their previous monicker Nevada Base (the synth-pop band which had existed since 2008)
The duo – Albert Kawmi and Calum Muir – following their hiatus of several, years reconvened with Nevada Base’s Gus Wemyss, renamed the band Sun Rose, and had Miaoux Miaoux remix the album tracks.
Now a six-piece, the band will launch the album on November at Nice’n’Sleazy in Glasgow on Friday 17th November, with guests and LNFG stablemates L-Space, who have been contributing remixes of some of the album’s tunes.
