Stone Dead John release a new EP, ‘Howling Vol I’
Including lead track ‘Stratosphere’, the debut from the Glasgow-based blues/garage rock duo is available to stream or download
The new material is the project of multi-instrumentalist Christopher Johnston, who is taking his various recordings from throughout the years with the assistance of Shug McKay who contributes guitar, synth, sampler and backing vocals.
The pair are assisted by Shaun Mark Mckay – who has previously played with Johnston in alt.rock band St. Providence – on lead guitar/synths.
The band understandably have no live shows planned, but will take part in the Sofathon Singalong on Saturday 9th May, at 2pm.
