Static Union release a new double-A-side single, ‘Last Resort’ / ‘Last Of Our Kind’.

It follows up their previous, third, single ‘Finally’.

Both tracks were written, recorded and produced by the band at their studio in Glasgow and mixed by Julian Victor Corrie (aka Miaoux Miaoux, now part of Franz Ferdinand, and who’s worked with the likes of Chvrches and Belle & Sebastian in the past) and mastered by Pete Maher (U2, Lana Del Rey, Jack White, The Rolling Stones).

The band – Sean McGarvey, James Harker, Liam Adams, and Cameron Angus – are a Glasgow four piece aged 18-20 and who got together in 2014 while at high school having played solo and in bands since their early teens. Now students, they have a growing reputation in Scotland for their expansive and thrilling live shows.

Previously in 2017 the band have headlining Glasgow’s King Tuts, and playing XpoNorth Inverness, Tenement Trail Glasgow, and Prince’s Street during Edinburgh Festival. In November they will perform at The Youth Proms at The Royal Albert Hall which take place from November 13-15, and play King Tut’s on December 13.
