Glasgow/West Lothian quartet Static Satellites release a new single, ‘Fortify’.

Available as a stream or download, it follows up ‘Waster‘

The band – featuring Glaswegians Ally Taylor and Ciaran Boyle, Bathgate native Sam Carlyle, and Ross Whelan, from Armadale – formed in the summer of 2018, releasing debut single ‘Spin’ in May 2019 as a fundraiser for the Samaritans.

Since then they have supported the likes of Red Rum Club, Luke La Volpe and Voodoo Bandits.

Recorded and produced by Mark Morrow, the new track, the band say, is “not so much about a break up as such but rather about regrouping and recollecting yourself after going through a tough time.”
