The Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival has announced a music fringe event which feature some of Scotland’s favourite acts from across the musical spectrum.
From May 1-5 ‘The Sessions’ will be staged at whisky-themed venues across the region, including distilleries, bars and even a vintage train.

RM Hubbert and Withered Hand will play shows on the weekend of 2nd -3rd May – altermating betweem The Old Bridge Inn in Aviemore, andElgin’s Drouthy Cobbler.

Also billed are shows from the likes of traditional Scottish music bands Old Blind Dogs, Ivor Novello winning singer-songwriter Scott Matthews, plus comedy from Alan Anderson.
