Alt.folkies The Southern Tenant Folk Union release a single, ‘What Would You Give For A Leader With Soul?’.
What’s actually an EP trails the Edinburgh-based combo’s album ‘Join Forces’, due out at the end of September. It contains four tunes, written in the wake of the May 2015 General Election and the subsequent Labour leaedership contest.
Three of the tracks are taken from the album, the band’s seventh, including the title track to ‘Join Forces’ plus the Rory Butler-penned ‘To The War’. Also included is ‘How Many Lies’, taken from the same recording sessions but is exclusive to the release.
The band tour the UK until November when they return to Scotland with shows in Edinburgh, Montrose, Findhorn, Portree, and starting in Perth on Tuesday November 22nd.
